GUMMY GRIME!

The UGLYgallery – Street Art Gallery in New Bedford opened last summer and is my favorite gallery in the city. The art is always fresh, vibrant, and inspired, so I was more than a little flattered when gallery co-owner Jeremiah Hernandez contacted me and asked me to participate in their very first photography exhibition.

“Gummy Grime” is an expo of street-inspired, lens captured work by myself and photographers Maurico Murillo, Jessica Hatter, Kimberly Purcell, Frank Pina, Jamilyn Gordon, Mark, Gleischer, Kris Nordstrom and Michelle McCay. It’s sure to be a great and grimy show. Opening is next Wednesday, November 23rd 6-10pm so please come by to partake in some pre-turkey day art and fun. 246 Union Street Downtown New Bedford.

UGLYgallery U Gotta Love Yourself will be dedicated to bringing you fresh art, artists, and events. Follow along as we lay down the brick and mortar in our hometown and the art world.

baggage

Baggage is what we carry when we travel, and what we bring to relationships. Baggage contains belongings and our emotions. It gets dragged, lugged, carried and shipped from place to place. It can take many shapes and hold many things. The work in this exhibit responds to the theme in both literal and metaphorical ways. The diverse and dynamic exhibition includes sculpture, painting, drawing, and photography.

July 20th – August 20th
