Postcards from New Bedford: a photostory project

A community project merging the photographs of pro, amateur, and young (ages 8-18) photographers, celebrating the City of New Bedford opens tonight at ArtWorks 384 Acushnet Avenue, New Bedford 6-9pm.

I am personally very excited about this exhibit because not only does it celebrate the multitude of fantastic stories and the cultural color of New Bedford, it is the first time that I will be exhibiting with my 8 year old daughter Charlotte. I love seeing the world through her photographs.

The Fine Art of Photography

At the Ugly Gallery. Great gifts and photography by yours truly. Fa la la la la!

The UGLYgallery – Street Art Gallery in New Bedford opened last summer and is my favorite gallery in the city. The art is always fresh, vibrant, and inspired, so I was more than a little flattered when gallery co-owner Jeremiah Hernandez contacted me and asked me to participate in their very first photography exhibition.

“Gummy Grime” is an expo of street-inspired, lens captured work by myself and photographers Maurico Murillo, Jessica Hatter, Kimberly Purcell, Frank Pina, Jamilyn Gordon, Mark, Gleischer, Kris Nordstrom and Michelle McCay. It’s sure to be a great and grimy show. Opening is next Wednesday, November 23rd 6-10pm so please come by to partake in some pre-turkey day art and fun. 246 Union Street Downtown New Bedford.

UGLYgallery U Gotta Love Yourself will be dedicated to bringing you fresh art, artists, and events. Follow along as we lay down the brick and mortar in our hometown and the art world.
